At our practice we provide specialized child psychology services designed to support and empower children and their families. Every child is unique, and our services are tailored to each child’s individual needs for optimal development and well-being.

One of our main services is the initial assessment. This includes a detailed interview with parents, as well as direct observation and assessment of the child. We use valid and reliable psychometric tools to understand the child’s psychological state, cognitive abilities, emotional well-being and social skills. Upon completion of the assessment, we provide detailed reports and detailed recommendations for further interventions or treatments, if necessary.

Psychotherapy is another critical service we offer. In our practice we use various forms of psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Cognitive-behavioral therapy helps children identify and modify dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors. Play therapy allows children to express their feelings through play, which is a natural means of expression for children. Narrative therapy helps children process their experiences through the creation of personal narratives.

We also place particular emphasis on supporting parents. We offer counseling sessions where parents can learn how to better cope with the challenges their children face. With a foresight to understand the child’s developmental stage, we provide practical advice to promote positive behaviours and manage difficult situations.

In addition, in our practice we deal with the diagnosis and support of children with learning difficulties. We work closely with schools and teachers to ensure that children and adolescents receive appropriate support and adaptation to their educational environment. We provide assessments for disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and other specific learning needs, and recommend individualised learning strategies to help children achieve their full potential.

We treat and provide support to children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic experiences or have serious emotional problems. We offer immediate and ongoing support to help children process trauma and develop resilience strategies. We also specialise in providing support for children experiencing anxiety, depression or other mental health issues.

Our approach is based on collaboration and open communication with the family, teachers and other health professionals who may be involved in the child’s care. We believe that an integrated and collaborative approach is the best way to ensure the holistic well-being and development of children. At our practice, we are committed to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each child and family, working tirelessly to create a supportive and encouraging environment where children can thrive and succeed.
