PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

PREFACE

The Personal Data Protection Policy covers and relates to the conditions of collection and management of the personal data of readers / visitors / users / members of the papadimitriadis.gr website, during the visit and use of the services and pages owned by the PRIVATE CLINIC OF DIMITRIS PAPADIMITRIADIS & ASSOCIATES MEDICAL L.P., under the distinctive title CURE OF MIND (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy / contract, in no way covers the legal relationship between visitors / users of the pages and any other services, which are not subject to the control and / or ownership of Company.

1. FIELD OF APPLICATION 

This Privacy Policy applies only to the pages owned and managed by the company, which are owned and managed by Company  and does not apply to information collected through any other website or third party practices that are not controlled by the Company. Company.
The pages may include links (“links”) to other websites (sites) which are not controlled by the COMPANY but by third parties (natural or legal persons). In no case shall the company be liable for any damage caused by third parties, which are not owned by the company or its affiliates, but by third parties (e.g. third party websites or third party websites).  Company for the terms of protection of personal data of visitors / users, which are adopted and applied by these entities.

2. PERSONAL DATA FILE POLICY

For the simple browsing of the pages of this website, no personal data of the visitor/user is collected.

Also, when sending any registration form or when making an appointment booking or purchasing services, in  Company, the visitor’s/user’s IP address is also collected and a cookie is sent to the user’s computer.

The pages provide visitors/users with the opportunity to correct and update or delete their personal data and information at any time.

A website collects personal data when the visitor/user:

B. uses its services and
C. visits its pages.

In particular, the technical ways in which users’ personal data are collected when using the services of the pages are as follows:

3. MEANS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

α. Personal data that may be requested from the page.
When the visitor/user uses certain functions of the pages, such as when registering for certain services, accessing certain content or functions, such as courses, seminars or booking appointments, or when communicating directly with a page or service, by Company, or with other users, he or she may be asked for various information, such as:

γ. Information may be collected from other sources:
Through the use of a page’s services, information about visitors/users may be accessed from third party sources and platforms (such as social networking sites, databases, online marketing companies and companies that target advertising), which include:
– if the visitor/user gains access to third party social networking services (such as Facebook Connect or Twitter) through the page, his/her username and login lists for these services,
– demographic data, such as age group, gender and interests,
– interactions with ads and viewing data such as click-through rates and information on how many times a particular ad has been viewed,
– unique identifiers, including mobile device identification numbers, which can track the physical location of such devices in accordance with applicable law.
Please note that the site may combine information collected directly with information obtained from third party sources.

δ. Real-time chats
The site may record the messages sent by visitors/users of the relevant services solely for the purpose of detecting violations of its terms of use, as provided in particular by this policy and for no other purpose. Η  Company may not disclose to third parties the content of the relevant messages, unless the author (the visitor / user) consents.

ε. Visitor/user accounts:
In order to provide a forum for discussion, in which freedom of speech and expression on the one hand, and respect for the law and the protection of human dignity on the other, the Company tracks user participation in the discussion communities that take place on its pages. For example, the proportion of flagged comments that are eventually deleted is tracked.

4. COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

α. The Company strictly adheres to the Greek legislation on the keeping of personal data records. The data declared and collected in the above cases are not disclosed to third parties and are in no way made public or exploited by the  Company.
b. Η  Company undertakes not to sell, rent or in any way publish and/or disclose the personal data of visitors/users to any third party.
c.  Company may channel the personal data of visitors / users to third parties exclusively in the following cases:
– If it has the express consent of visitors / users for the channeling of their personal data, which is presumed to be given when the visitor / user registers as a member of this website and does not submit an objection request, as described above.
– In the case where the communication of the visitors’/users’ personal data to third parties that cooperate with this website becomes necessary for the implementation of the users’ requests. The third parties (natural or legal persons) that cooperate with this website have the right to process the personal data that visitors/users of the pages submit to it only to the extent that is strictly necessary to provide support to these services.
– Where the disclosure of personal data is required by law and only to the competent authorities. The Company may also, for the purposes of statistical analysis, and in order to collect information on how its pages and services are used, keep in aggregate form and analyze the data collected in order to improve the functionality of pages and services and to better shape their content and design.

5. SPECIAL CASES OF USE OF PERSONAL DATA

α. Communications by e-mail (e-mail)
With the consent of the visitor/user, the personal information collected may be used in order to send him (the user) communication material via e-mail, such as updates of main articles, information about his account or changes to the page he is visiting and, with his consent, informative messages about products and services of Company.

By paying for an appointment, the user expressly agrees and gives his/her consent to the automatic registration of his/her email address in the lists of recipients of the clinic’s newsletter. The newsletter includes useful scientific information, news and information about the services and activities of the practice. In addition, users can subscribe to the newsletter independently of booking an appointment, via a special form provided on the website. The user reserves the right to stop receiving the newsletters at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link included in each email received through this service. The unsubscribe procedure is immediate and free of charge.  

β. Communications via mobile devices
With the consent of the visitor/user, his/her mobile phone number may also be used to send him/her information messages, updates or other services.

γ. E-commerce services (e-commerce)
For the use of the e-commerce services of this website by the visitor / user it is possible to request the following data: Full name, address of natural person, postal code, telephone number, E-mail, AMKA, VAT, Tax Office, City, Country, Credit Card details. The above data are also required for the issue of the relevant documents (tax documents), or for the execution of electronic prescriptions and electronic referrals and are kept in the file of Company. These data may never be disclosed to third parties except for the exceptions expressly mentioned in this contract.

CREDIT CARD DETAILS

The Credit Card that the visitor / user will use to pay for services / subscriptions of this website, is charged only once and only for the specific transaction unless the visitor / user has chosen the automatic charging of his credit card each time his subscription or the service he participates in is renewed. The Company is not responsible for the terms of use of personal data adopted by the financial institutions with which it cooperates for the completion of commercial transactions.

δ. Making information available to third parties
The Company respects the privacy of visitors/users and shares their information under certain circumstances only. In particular, information related to users is made available to other companies, applications or persons, exclusively under the circumstances listed below:
– The provision of services related to the pages, such as database management, maintenance services, analytics, data processing and distribution of e-mails and text messages and the booking of appointments in the calendar of members of the scientific team of  Company, may be entrusted by the Company to external partners/service providers. These third parties will have access to the information concerning the Users only for the performance of the above mentioned tasks on behalf of the  Company.
– Information about visitors/users may be disclosed to investigate and/or prevent illegal activities, if fraud is suspected, if there are circumstances involving potential threats to the physical integrity or other rights and interests of any person, or if required by law, and in other cases in which the Company believes in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary, in accordance with applicable law and in particular with the Code of Medical Ethics.
– In general, except in the above cases, the information collected may be used for any other purposes disclosed to visitors/users at the time of collection of the information or upon their consent.

ε. Third party services
To simplify the registration process on the pages, visitors/users are given the opportunity to access or interact with third party services such as Facebook, Twitter and Google. When connecting to the pages, through these third party services, information about them may be communicated to the third party service providers and they, conversely, may communicate to Dr Dimitris Papadimitriadis data about visitors/users.
When visitors/users allow the Company to access their data through a third party service to create a profile on a page, this data may be used for various purposes, such as:
– The automatic creation of relationships in the system of this website. For example, if the visitor/user connects to a page via a service with a public friend list, such as Twitter, the Company may check whether any people the visitor/user follows on Twitter are also members of the page. In this case, the Twitter visitor/user’s relationship with these members will be replicated, setting them to be followers, followers or friends on the page.
– Relationship proposals. For example, if the visitor/user connects to the page through a service that has a private contact list (such as Google), this site checks their contacts for people who are members of the page and suggests that they become a follower of these users. It should be stressed that this process is not automatic. The visitor/user must choose to accept to become a follower of these recommended users.

7. IP ADDRESSES

The IP address is determined by the provider of the connection through which the visitor/user accesses the internet and then the Website. The IP address is kept for technical reasons, as well as to address issues related to the security of the pages’ systems (server, data base, network, etc.). The IP address of the visitor/user may be disclosed by the Companyif requested by the competent police, judicial or other state authorities, always in accordance with the procedure provided for by law.

8. THE USER’S OPTIONS

α. The visitor/user can at any time update or modify the account he/she may maintain on the website by visiting the settings page in his/her profile. He can even delete his profile and all the data contained in it, upon request in the contact form. When he deletes his account, his public comments may remain on the page he has visited and used its services. The site will not disable, remove or edit any of its public activities or any submission that is a result of its public activities.
β. The Company does not have access to or control over the cookies of service providers and the information practices of third parties are not covered by this privacy policy.

9. ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA

The Company gives users the right to delete their personal data, correct and/or update their personal data by visiting their profile settings page. They can also delete their profile and unsubscribe at any time by requesting this on the contact form of this website. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, you must send proof of your identity with your request and will receive a response within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request.

10. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

Access to the contact details of visitors/users is limited to Company and its affiliates, or service providers who are reasonably considered to need to know this information in order to provide services to visitors/users or to perform their work. We have also adopted technical, physical and administrative procedures that are appropriate to protect information about Users from loss, misuse and alteration.
It is emphasized that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

11. MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

Users of the pages who are minors are not allowed to access the services. In the event that underage users nevertheless visit the pages voluntarily, this cannot be constantly monitored and the Company assumes no responsibility.
The Company does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors under the age of 18. If we find that we have collected any personal information from a minor under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent, it will delete the information from its database as soon as possible.

12. APPLICABLE LAW

The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the services of this website is subject to the terms of this policy and the relevant provisions of the Greek legislation (Law 2472/1997) for the protection of personal data, as amended and in force today and has been supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Personal Data Protection Committee and other relevant legislation in this context, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. Any possible relevant legislation will constitute an amendment of the present Regulation as regards its specific scope.
In any case, the Company reserves the right to modify the terms of this privacy policy within the existing or possibly new legal framework, after informing visitors / users. The use of the services of the pages implies full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this document.
If a visitor/user does not agree with the terms of protection of personal data provided herein, he/she must not use the services of this website.

13. TRANSACTION SECURITY

The Company uses on its website the SSL protocol, with strong encryption for secure on-line commercial transactions, according to the indicated and accepted international technological standards.
In this way all your personal information, including your credit card number, name and address, is encrypted so that it cannot be read or changed during its transfer on the Internet. The SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is currently the global standard on the Internet for authenticating web sites to web users and for encrypting data between web users and web servers.
An encrypted SSL communication requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus protecting personal information in transit.
In addition, all information sent using the SSL protocol is protected by a mechanism that automatically verifies if the data has been changed in transit. This website and the Company do not maintain in any form, digital or otherwise, credit card details and the processing of these when carrying out relevant transactions between Dimitris Papadimitriadis and users of its services, is implemented entirely by third party licensed and valid international financial institutions.
